Wood Columns & Posts That are Naturally Weather-Resistant
Wood columns are available in styles ranging from classically architectural to more modern no-taper rounds, squares (plain and panel), craftsman and colonial. Material options are paint grade woods (finger-jointed pine, redwood, or cedar) for interior or exterior use or stain grade woods for interior applications (such as mahogany, cherry, oak, etc.).
Western red cedar or heart redwood are generally recommended for exterior applications due to their superior natural weather-resistant characteristics.
